Freinds, That’s right, good old Comcast.net internet, is ripping people off… It seems that Comcast, has silently swiched to a tiered service now, Has anyone seen the “Power Boost†Commericals on TV. Well, it seems Comcast only offers this new service to those who pay for high than basic internet speeds… this was confirmed when I chatted with one of thier reps…:

Something’s fishy here… we are already paying almost $100.00 bucks a month for cable, and now we have to pay more for faster speed? something dooesn’t smell right here…
There needs to be a Congressional investigation into the business pratices of Comcast Networks.

We subscribe to digital cable and cable internet through Comcast. We HATE it!! If we had another realistic choice in our area, we would switch in a heartbeat.
Yeah, if you consider 19.95 for a month a perk, my point to this whole article is this, if you going to offer "power boost" offer it to everyone, and charge the same price, don't offer this group on thing and tell the existing customers, upgrade and pay more or tough crap.... that's comcast's mentality. we're out to make the bucking and screw you if you don't like it.
Comcast in infamous for thier blantant stupidity. This same stunt was attempted before under the name "Comcast Premuim" and no body bought it. Seems they are trying again to nickle and dime everyone. and Yes, I am going to raise stink about it, until they offer the fast internet Speed to EVERYONE, and not just the new people at a high price. it's called deception and the real kicker is, in the fine print they tell you, that they cannot promise you, that you will see the high speed. that's the thing that's messed up about it. it's like "here, pay for higher speed, but don't expect us to deliever the service.." It is quite frankly, vomit provoking that comcast would take advantage of people, like my folks, who are retired and living on a fixed income. It is a bunch of crap and I am going to complain to who will listen, until I get some sort of action, by someone....
